Yimeng Huang is a joint Ph.D. student of USTC and City University of Hong Kong. This is a joint Ph.D. program between the two institutions and requires completion of the academic requirements of both institutions. Therefore, She is studying at the School of Computing of the City University of Hong Kong now and will stay for one year from September 2023 to August 2023.

She has learned a lot from this experience:

2.      Met many great teachers, seniors, and peers. They have a clear plan for their future and are highly self-driven. They have the ability to identify and solve problems and can provide some valuable insights and suggestions.

3.      Hone skills. Listening and speaking are the biggest headaches for most mainland students. During her studies, she gradually overcame her fear of communicating in English and improved her communication skills through multiple trainings such as classes and group meetings.
