Ubiquitous Battery-free Internet of Things Laboratory of USTC has long been committed to the research of advanced information technology that serves the national strategic needs such as the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence. With the goal of building a world-class Internet of Things infrastructure and platform, and the responsibility of cultivating world-class Internet of Things talents, we will make every effort to promote the leaping development of Chinese Internet of Things. The laboratory is now launching the 2023 postgraduate enrollment work for outstanding students from domestic universities. The relevant arrangements are as follows:
(1) Admission Requirements
1. Participate in the preliminary examination of the 2023 National Master's Admissions Examination, and successfully enter the re-examination stage；
2. The school you are applying for is the School of Computer Science and Technology or the School of Big Data；
3. Respect teachers, unite with classmates, have good moral character, have a strong sense of collective honor and teamwork awareness；
4. Possess solid professional knowledge, mathematics skills and English reading and writing skills；
5. Those with competition experience and paper publication experience are preferred.
(2) Time of Important Event
1. March 12, 2023：Admission Seminar
2. March 20, 2023：Admissions assessment (first batch)
3. March 27, 2023：Admissions assessment (second batch)

(3) Application Materials
1. Materials Preparation
①Transcripts of the undergraduate period
② Personal resume: In addition to basic personal information, it is recommended to include projects, competitions, papers and other content that can reflect personal characteristics and learning ability.
③ Relevant proof materials: proof materials of the experience mentioned in the resume, such as competition award certificates, papers, etc.
④ Postgraduate entrance examination recommendation form: fill in the information of three referees. Applicants should truthfully provide the application materials listed above. If any false materials are found to be submitted, the qualification for assessment will be cancelled.
2. Material submission
Those who meet the admission requirements of the laboratory for postgraduate entrance examination and are interested in applying should send their personal materials to the E-mail before the deadline.
① Deadline: 24 hours before the admission assessment

④ E-mail attachment: All application materials should be submitted in the form of a compressed package, named in the format of name-faculty name
(4) Assessment Process
1. Material pre-examination
The laboratory will pre-examine the application materials. After the pre-examination is passed, the admission officer will inform the candidates of the pre-examination results and specific assessment arrangements.
2. Comprehensive assessment
The comprehensive assessment is mainly divided into the following parts:
(1) Coding test (30 minutes): completed in OJ system.
(2) Interview (10 minutes): Including English self-introduction, Q&A and basic knowledge Q&A.
(3) Referrer interview (15 minutes): Members of the admissions team conduct telephone interviews with 3 referees (teachers, parents, and classmates) of candidates, each for 5 minutes.
(4) Tutor talk: Tutor and candidate talk individually, 5 minutes each
3. Admission Confirmation
The results of the assessment will be sent by E-mail. Students who pass the assessment must sign the admission confirmation letter and send it to admission officer 's E-mail for confirmation within 48 hours of receiving the E-mail. Those who fail to confirm within the time limit will be deemed to have given up automatically.
